1. What the Service Does

SniffSlop analyzes publicly accessible websites and provides an AI-generated assessment of how likely it is that the website's content was written or generated by artificial intelligence. Results are probabilistic estimates, not definitive facts.

2. No Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable. When you pay $5 for a Pro report, the analysis is generated immediately using paid AI APIs (GPT-5.5). Because the service is delivered instantly and consumed at the moment of purchase, we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances.

If the analysis fails to generate due to a technical error on our side, we will re-run the analysis at no additional cost. Contact us with your Stripe session ID.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI detection is not a perfect science. SniffSlop provides a best-effort assessment based on linguistic patterns, HTML forensics, and AI model judgment. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any score or verdict.

Do not use SniffSlop results as sole evidence in legal, professional, or contractual disputes.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use SniffSlop to analyze websites you own, or publicly accessible websites for research, due diligence, or personal use. You may not:

· Use automated scripts to bypass rate limits

· Attempt to manipulate scores via prompt injection or similar attacks

· Resell or redistribute our reports without permission

· Use the service to defame or harass individuals or businesses

5. Rate Limits & Fair Use

Free tier users are limited to 3 scans per IP address per 24-hour period. We reserve the right to reduce or block access to users who abuse the free tier or attempt to circumvent limits.

6. Data & Privacy

We do not store your payment information - all payments are processed by Stripe. We temporarily cache scraped page content in server memory (up to 60 minutes) to generate your report. We do not sell or share this data.

Public reports (accessible via shareable link) are stored on our server and may be deleted without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The SniffSlop interface, scoring logic, and prompt system are our intellectual property. The content of a Pro report is yours to use freely for any purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

SniffSlop is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to: business decisions made based on report results, inaccurate scores, or service downtime.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
